The Historic Miles Ranch, circa 1855, was the first of the great ranches established west of the Missouri River and is currently home to Nebraska’s oldest barn.  It is a repository of more than 160 years of American history and culture.

The mission of the Historic Miles Ranch is to preserve the property and its history for future generations, interpret the accomplishments and legacy of Colonel Stephen Boyd and Hannah Scarborough Miles and their children to a diverse public, and serve as an educational resource. We accomplish our history preservation and educational goals by supporting the Miles Ranch Foundation.
